STATS 8 Introduction to Biological Statistics (Credit Units: 4) Introductory statistical techniques used to collect and analyze experimental and observational data from health sciences and biology. Includes exploration of data, probability and sampling distributions, basic statistical inference for means and proportions, linear regression, and analysis of variance. Only one corse form STATS 7, MATH 7, SCOECOL 13, STATS 8, and MGMT 7. Only one course from STATS 8, SOCECOL 13, MGMT 7 may be taken for credit. (Design units: 0)
