Course Learning Outcomes. Students will:

1. Learn the occurrence, abundance and distribution of microorganism in the environment.

2. Understand the important role of microorganisms in both the natural and man-made environment.

3. Learn the microbial application in engineering practice and solution.

4. Understand the advantages and limitations of current tools for investigation of environmental microbiology.

5. Learn to formulate proposals to convert ideas of engineering solutions.

6. Present scientific papers in environmental microbiology.
