3. Measure the electrical characteristics of electric machines. (EAC b)

Understanding of electric network

Lecture Topics:

Magnetic circuits, dc motors, ac motors, adjustable speed motor drive techniques using power electronics circuits.

Class Schedule:

Meets for 3 hours of lecture each week for 10 weeks.

MATLAB

Laboratory Projects:

From a given speed profile, find the torque requirement, design the switching converter and the control loops.
