CBEMS 221 Drug Delivery (Credit Units: 4) Introduction to design of drug delivery systems. Includes physiochemical and pharmacokinetic considerations in drug formulations, types of therapeutics, routes of administration, biomaterials, and novel drug delivery system. Prerequisite: Chemistry 1C; CBEMS112, BME50B or Biological Sciences 93; or consent of instructor. (Design units: 0)
