Course Learning Outcomes. Students will:

1. Read a mechanical engineering part or assembly drawing. (EAC a, EAC k)

2. Translate proposed design concepts into 3D CAD models and generate engineering drawings for manufacture (EAC a, EAC k)

Design Content Description
Approach:

Students use phases of design to define problem, product concept and process concept (phase I) and execution (phase II) with SolidWorks to design a basic biomedical device.

  • Final Design Report: 20%
